TDK-Lambda DUSH series models with LCD and Modbus interfaces are ideal for building and factory automation, security solutions and many other applications.
TDK Corporation announces series availability TDK-Lambda DUSH uninterruptible power supplies (SAI) direct current (CC) with compact format for mounting on DIN rail.
These innovations, which form the core of a system SAI-CC, guarantee backup power in case of power outage, being able to connect the power supply, load and battery. Under normal conditions, the load receives power from the power supply connected to the input.
The DUSH series also manages the charging of the connected batteryIf a power outage occurs, the module will maintain a regulated output voltage, using the battery as a power source for the load.
When operating with an input voltage 10 to 60V, DUSH units can be programmed to provide a regulated output 10 to 58V assigned to 20 AAn auxiliary output is also available. 5 A unregulated (model with the suffix –0M).
They can accommodate multiple battery technologies, including lead, nickel, lithium and supercapacitors, with a capacity of up to 1.000 Ah. A converter buck/boost The integrated DC-DC has the task of decoupling the battery from the charging voltage.
Each DUSH module manages the “health status” of the battery and, therefore, avoids deep discharge. Thus, it allows temperature-compensated charging and monitors internal resistance.
These DC UPS also have a user interface on the front panel with a 1.5” color graphic LCD and four control keys (model with suffix -0M). They offer various interfaces and signals, including two configurable alarm relays, an isolated remote on/off contact, LED status indicators, and a battery temperature detection input. Mini USB-B or RS485 port for Modbus is dedicated to monitoring and programming tasks.
The Control & Monitoring Center software (PowerCMC) is useful in commissioning and maintenance processes, keeps a log of alarms and provides real-time status values for monitoring.
With dimensions of 54mm (width) x 115mm (height) x 131mm (depth) and a weight of 500 gr, DC UPSs achieve efficiency between 96 and 98 percent, depending on the load and operating mode, and operate in the temperature range -25 to +50 °C.
The DUSH series has the CE and UKCA markings for Low Voltage directives (LV) and RoHS and has the safety certificates IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, 61010-2-201 and IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 Ed.3.
There is more information about the new CC UPS in the data sheet from the DUSH series.
