The dsPIC33C Digital Power Starter Kit consists of a dsPIC33CK256MP505 DSC device, SMPS power stages, resistive loads, LCD display and a USB/UART bridge, and includes a programmer/debugger so no additional hardware is required.

These single-core dsPIC33CK DSCs accelerate DSP (Digital Signal Processor) performance in time-critical applications. This family offers fast deterministic performance to meet real-world design requirements. Complementing the dual-core dsPIC33CH DSCs, the dsPIC33CK family offers a cost-effective single-core option with the same core and high-performance peripherals.

These high-performance DSCs are based on the dsPIC33 'C' core with a DSP engine, extended registers with context selection to reduce interrupt latency, new instructions to accelerate DSP performance, tightly coupled peripherals, and faster execution to enable the implementation of complex high-speed control loops. The dsPIC33CK family retains the simplicity of a microcontroller while providing a path to increased performance for users of the dsPIC33E and dsPIC33F DSCs.
