This article introduces EtherSAM or ITU-T Y.156sam, the new ITU-T draft standard for establishing, installing, and troubleshooting Ethernet-based services. EtherSAM is the only test methodology that allows complete validation of Ethernet SLAs in a single test, much faster and with a higher level of precision.
