Model-based design enables the automatic generation of software from models for embedded systems of large automotive production. To carry it out, it is necessary to have the software engineering structure capable of supporting it.
In this document, a structure of processes, methods and tools for the design of embedded systems for the automotive industry is presented. A steer-by-wire system will serve as an example.
