Vector control of synchronous motors using DSP

The use of AC synchronous motors has traditionally been limited to constant speed industrial applications. However, acting on its feeding allows to control its dynamic parameters and its way of functioning. These control techniques require an accurate model of the motor and high-capacity processors to perform the calculations in real time. The development of new families of specific high-end signal processors dedicated to this purpose has made possible the implementation of these systems in the industrial field.
