This solution offers a power code base and a complete programming environment, thus eliminating vendor lock-in. The open concept of the power architecture makes it easy to program microcontrollers and immediately changes the power code as the system evolves, thereby reducing time to market and BOM. The encoding is supported by MPLAB® X IDE and an evaluation kit incorporating a SAMD20 microcontroller and UPD350 power transceiver for two USB-C ports, each capable of handling up to 100W.
