Following the launch of the highly efficient 78A non-isolated miniaturized DC/DC converters of the N1xx series, MEAN WELL introduces a new 2A model, the N78xx-2 series, to the market. This new series, distributed in Spain and Portugal by Electrónica OLFER, is designed to be fully compatible with the pins of traditional TO-220 linear voltage regulators of the 78xx and 79xx series, facilitating direct replacement.
The N78xx-2 series features improvements over its predecessor series, including high efficiency of up to 96% and the elimination of the need for additional heat sinks, simplifying heat management for system designers. It is specifically designed for integration into various electronic instruments, power supplies, and distributed circuit systems.
