SECO, a leader in edge AI solutions for industrial applications, will present its integrated approach to edge AI at embedded world North America 2026 , which will take place from September 22 to 24 in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center. En stand 6300 in hall B Visitors will be able to see how SECO combines AI-ready embedded hardware, its Clea software framework, engineering expertise, and long-term support to help original equipment manufacturers develop and implement next-generation smart connected products in industrial, medical, robotics, and vending machine applications.
The central element of the stand will be SECO's collaboration with technology partners to shorten the path between innovation and industrial implementation. Following the recent announcement of the SOM-SMARC-Dragonwing-IQ8 SECO will demonstrate how original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can move from rapid AI prototyping at the edge with Arduino® VENTUNO™ Q to a production-oriented architecture based on technology Qualcomm Dragonwing™ IQ8 Series . This approach is designed to preserve software development, while incorporating industrial-grade hardware, operating system compatibility, cybersecurity, lifecycle management, and device management capabilities that enable large-scale deployment.
SECO will also present a Multi-camera Edge AI security demonstration Powered by Qualcomm Dragonwing™ IQ9 technology, which runs up to 16 simultaneous AI video streams, combining vision and language models with object detection. The demonstration highlights how computationally intensive, multimodal AI workloads can be processed locally at the network edge. Leveraging AI acceleration and multimedia capabilities of the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 and IQ9 platforms SECO demonstrates the technological foundation for a new generation of intelligent, secure, and highly responsive Edge AI applications.
SECO will also present the 10,1″ Intel®-based edge AI mobile system , a rugged, battery-powered demonstration platform designed to highlight edge AI processing in mobile and remote environments. Built around SECO's embedded computing technology, which includes the Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processor (codenamed Panther Lake), the system illustrates how AI processing can be integrated into battery-powered portable applications, such as offline personal assistants and field maintenance operations, where energy efficiency and local processing are key requirements.
Taken together, the demonstrations illustrate a broader proposal that goes beyond individual computer modules. SECO combines its portfolio of systems-on-modules (SOMs), single-board computers (SBCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and embedded systems with Clea to provide an integrated hardware and software foundation for connected products throughout their lifecycle. The capabilities, which include remote device management, secure over-the-air (OTA) updates, remote troubleshooting, container orchestration, and AI workflow deployment, enable original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to manage smart products after they leave the factory and scale them to installed fleets.
Rodney Feldman, vice president of Products, Innovation and Marketing at SECO USA, said:
Edge AI is rapidly moving from experimentation to real products, but streamlining development—from a working concept to a product that can be manufactured, reliably deployed, and supported for years—has been a major challenge. Our goal is to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) bridge this gap. By integrating computing platforms, software, AI capabilities, and lifecycle expertise, we make it easier for our customers to transition to the next level without having to assemble and manage every component of the technology stack themselves.
The booth will also demonstrate how the same comprehensive approach can address existing equipment and provide new digital services. Vending machine management software Clea Vend by SECO and the compact contactless payment terminal KarL4 They highlight how remote machine management and modern payment transactions can transform a traditionally low-tech industry. The SECO stand will showcase the iconic binocular viewer which is seen at tourist attractions in the United States and Canada, provided by The Tower Optical Company, with integrated KarL4. Selected for its low power consumption, integrated cellular connectivity and compatibility with contactless payment authorization, KarL4 allows coin-operated equipment to be adapted for card and digital wallet payments, while maintaining the existing mechanical platform.
Visitors can also explore SECO's human-machine interfaces (HMIs), embedded computers, and other hardware platforms, and speak directly with SECO specialists about application requirements.
