RECOM expands its portfolio of low consumption CC/DC products with the R0.5ZX and R1ZX series
The R0.5ZX and R1ZX models are based on the R1SX series SMD isolated low-profile 2 kV DC, but include an internal linear regulator to provide accurate, load-independent, low-noise output. The already low output ripple and noise can be reduced to 2 mVp-p with a simple external filter circuit.
The output is also continuously protected against short circuits. In the event of a continuous overload or overtemperature condition, the output will turn off thus protecting the inverter and the application from overcurrent damage. The output will automatically reset once the fault condition has been remedied. These DC/DC converters operate in a wide industrial temperature range from -40°C to +100°C and are certified to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 with CB report.
Typical applications include isolated 5V power supplies for sensors, bus interfaces, and precision measurement and test circuits. Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorized dealers or directly from RECOM.
