Vishay launches a new series of RCS series high power anti-surge thick film SMD resistors that reduce component count and save space in Industrial, Automotive, Battery Control and Telecom applications. It offers superior pulse charging performance and ESD surge characteristics compared to standard chip resistors. Available sizes save PCB space. With its rated power of 0.25W, the RCS0603 e3 small resistor covers the power ratings of standard 0603, 0805, and 1206 devices. It allows designers to standardize components and take advantage of the lower costs of smaller resistors.
