Siemens renews its range of meters for optimal management of heating, water and energy costs

The WHE heating cost allocators are installed in each of the radiators in the home, providing a system for measuring the dissipated energy. The reading via radio that they offer allows a distribution of the consumption of each apartment without it being necessary to access the interior of the dwellings to read it. Its scope of use are those installations in which the heat distribution is carried out by vertical columns without there being a separation by dwellings.

Within the Siemens portfolio there is also the possibility of having water meters without communication, with an optional pulse module or with an optional M-Bus communication module. The new WFW40 mechanical domestic hot water and WFK40 cold water meters allow total consumption of up to 2,5 m3/h and, in addition, the coupling of optional modules with pulse transmitters to achieve easy consumption integration. The pulse emitter is easily installed in existing meters without the need to disassemble them or use screws; its installation does not increase the size of the counter. A new M-Bus communication module is also available for the existing range of WFx30 mechanical water meters, allowing for easy integration. The new WFx5 thermal energy meters provide the solution for measuring the energy consumed in an apartment or office, up to 2,5m3/h. Within the range there are meters without communication and with standard M-bus communication to obtain a quick integration of consumption. The UH50 ultrasonic thermal energy meters provide a very precise measurement system without wear of the mechanical parts, so that the precision is maintained over the years. There is a wide range of meters, from 1,5 to 60m3/h.

Various accessories are also available, such as battery or external power supply modules and M-bus or pulse communication modules. As a novelty, the new range of WSM5 ultrasonic meters with integrated M-Bus communication is available.
