Due to continuous worldwide promotions of so-called green products, the demand for energy-efficient LED applications is gradually increasing in lighting fields.
After launching the constant voltage models, LPL-18 / LPH-18 (18W), LPV-20 (20W), LPV-35 (35W), LPV-60 (60W) and LPV-100 (100W), Meanwell expands power up to 150W, with the revelation series LPV-150, a constant voltage power supply for LEDs with a plastic case. This series allows us to work from 180 to 305 Vac at the input and provides 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V at the output, the most frequently used DC voltages for LED applications. It is a class II (non-grounded) model, equipped with a 94V-0 flame retardant plastic casing. In addition, not including the active PFC function makes it a highly competitive product in terms of cost.
Designed with IP67 protection that prevents internal electrical components from being damaged by dust and moisture. The interior of this model is completely encapsulated with heat-conducting silicone, effectively improving its dissipation capacity; on the other hand, with efficiency up to 90% in the entire series, even if it does not incorporate a fan, it can work from -25° to + 65°C by free air convection. The input and output ends have 18AWGx2C and 14AWGx2C cables, respectively, which facilitate mounting in different types of system or operation.
Other built-in functions are short circuit protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection and overtemperature protection. Some of the most common applications would be interior and exterior LED signage, decorative lighting, architectural lighting, LED strips, and much more, with all LED luminaires that have constant current applications.
