These 1 W DC/DC converters are suitable for bus isolation and a wide range of control equipment for the industrial automation. The R1SX series, an open frame SMD converter, takes advantage of the manufacturing techniques fully automated to provide stable performance and consistent high quality at a very competitive price. The modules are available with 3,3V or 5V inputs, offer a single unregulated 3,3V or 5V output, and can achieve 78% efficiency. There is no minimum charge required, and idle consumption is less than 150 mW. The converters can handle up to 2200 μF high capacitive load, which is 40 times higher than the competition. With up to 3 kV DC (/H option) of insulation, they are the ideal solution for the isolation of power lines. data transfer in industrial communication protocols (eg CAN bus). The modules operate with a wide temperature range from -40°C to +100°C at full load and have industry standard pinouts that are compatible with the R1S series, but at half their height. EMC Class A compliance can be achieved without external inductors, and EMC Class B compliance can be achieved with an additional inductor.
