RECOM presents its new top hat rail power supplies REDIN45 and REDIN60 with a power of 45 W or 60 W. In the development of these products, special emphasis was placed on the reliable conception of these power supplies, ensuring high quality of all components to ensure its long useful life and free of failures. The manufacturer calls it “Fit & Forget”: install it and then forget it. The output is optionally available with 12 VDC or 24 VCC, a value that can be precisely adjusted on the potentiometer located on the front. The excellent network and load regulation of the REDIN series ensures a constant and stable DC output voltage, which is signaled by a CC Ok luminaire. The modules are optionally equipped with voltage-free relay contacts that control a service indication on the cabinet door or are connected to a PLC that sends an error message to the control panel in the event of a fault. The contacts of several modules can be connected in series to generate a general “Good/Bad” signal.
Power supplies designed for a long service life can be deployed without any problem in a temperature range from -20°C to +70°C. The high degree of efficiency of more than 87% and the low idling losses (<0,5 W) reduce energy consumption and thermal development to minimum levels. In addition, high operational safety is guaranteed with a high grid failure bridging time of 50 ms under full load. The power supplies are equipped as standard with numerous protection measures: protection against short circuits, overcurrent, overtemperature and overvoltage with automatic restart after fault removal. Due to certification to international safety standards (EN/UL60950 and UL508) and a universal input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC, the convection-cooled AC modules can be deployed worldwide.

Valuable control cabinet space can be additionally saved because they can be installed in any number side by side, with no gaps in between.
