Inclined power terminal blocks for printed circuit board

Phoenix Contact's new SPTA series PCB terminal blocks feature a 30 degree angled cable connection receptacle for easy conductor connection. The SPTA 5 terminal block, with a pitch of 7,5 mm, is sized for cables with a section of up to 6 mm² and a maximum intensity of 41 A. The SPTA 16 variant allows transmission of a maximum of 76 A with a section of 16 mm² and in a 10mm pitch. Both have plug-in jumpers, as an accessory, that allow easy connection of several poles. Thanks to the push-in technology, the cables can be quickly connected without tools and can be disconnected again without special tools. Their zigzag pins make both PCB terminal blocks compact and also have unrestricted UL approval for 600 V and IEC for 1000 V. With the new bridgeable PCB terminal blocks from the SPTA series, Phoenix Contact is expanding its product range for high voltage applications.
