WEG expands its Automation offer in Europe with the acquisition of Autrial SL in Spain

WEG, a global manufacturer specializing in electric motors and drive technology, strengthens its position in the automation sector in Europe through the acquisition of Autrial SL Autrial is one of the leading electrical panel manufacturers in the sector. This agreement is in line with WEG's commitment to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and reliability in the systems that it makes available to the most demanding markets. For which a wide set of automation solutions is offered, including frequency converters, soft starters and contactors.

 

Autrial was founded in 1977 as a family business and has extensive experience in the production of electrical control and protection panels for electric motors. The company also manufactures distribution boards, for generators, for photovoltaic installations, with great know-how in all fields. It has modern facilities of more than 10.000 square meters and employs more than 120 people including administration, engineering and production. The turnover generated in 2014 was around fourteen million euros.
