The power supplies RECOM's robust and reliable 2W and 3W AC/DC have been designed to uninterruptibly power the 24/7 service of intelligent building infrastructure, they have compact dimensions for easy installation, very low power consumption in standby mode (35 mW) and full safety certification for homes (IEC/EN60335), CE (LVD+EMC+RoHS2) and industry (IEC/EN/UL60950).
The RAC03-SER/277 is a regulated power supply, designed to fit into standard wall outlets. Its round shape and low profile of only 11 mm allow simple and quick implementation of solutions Smart Home/Smart Office without extensive renovation works, taking advantage of the space behind the switch plates. For mounting printed circuit boards or wired applications with limited space, the RAC02-SE/277 and RAC03-SE/277 modules are also available with dimensions of only 34×22 mm. All three DC power supplies are isolated, regulated, overload and short-circuit proof and are suitable for use in automation applications in intelligent buildings, as p. eg remote sensors, actuators, climate controls, touch screen interfaces, door access controls, alarm systems wireless, gate openers, conference and entertainment systems.
Each of these mini-power supplies has a particularly wide input voltage range of 85 to 305VAC, so they can be implemented in networks of supply voltage all over the world, being able to simultaneously face electrical surges and voltage drops without affecting the voltage regulation output. Continuous output voltages of 3,3 are available; 5; 12 or 24 V. Power consumption in stand-by mode is less than one twelfth of the ErP directive requirements. The modules have 3 kVAC input/output isolation and operate reliably in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The warranty period amounts to 3 years.
