HAMEG Instruments Spain presents the new HMC8015 “6+1” multifunction power analyzer, a model that performs measurements from DC to 100 kHz with a sampling frequency of 500.000 samples.
Developed in Germany and manufactured in Europe, this “6+1” analyzer offers state-of-the-art functionality and the highest resolution in its class.
The HMC8015 combines seven different instruments and features a high brightness QVGA TFT display and configurable GUI.
The HMC8015 analyzer is part of the new HMC Series (“C” of compact instruments), offered by the German company and has a voltage input of up to 600 Vrms, a current input of up to 20 Arms, high basic accuracy of 0.05% reading and various interfaces, for faster and more efficient communications.
The HMC8015 also stands out for its detection and its automatic DC/DC switching, it implements a technology that does not require forced ventilation and with this a silent operation is obtained and the firmware can be updated to maintain the equipment for a long time as an interesting investment since new features may be added.
Fields of use of the HMC8015
This compact and versatile desktop design covers a wide range of applications, from R&D with design and development to SAT's and production environments. Examples are in consumption analysis of on-grid devices, laboratories, power measurement of embedded systems, and quality control in manufacturing and R&D centers.
This new HCM6 “1+8015” power analyzer incorporates power meter, data-logger (data recorder), oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, energy meter (real-time integrator), production tester and policy tester functions. (Energy Star, EN50160, EN50564, EN61000-3-2 and IEC62301).
All these functions provide the instrument with versatility and possibilities that will allow users and engineers to do wonders in their daily signal measurement/analysis work.
