Omron Electronic Components Europe has expanded its AC relay portfolio to achieve its highest current and voltage levels ever in a PCB AC relay. The new G9KA-E allows a voltage of up to 1000VAC and a current of up to 300A, values that are among the highest in the current market for relays for printed circuit boards.

Omron's G9KA series of high power relays guarantees a mechanical life of 100.000 operations. Its ultra-low contact resistance of 0,2mOhm maximum minimizes contact heating and allows you to switch high current loads. The plunger-type relay structure provides high strength and low consumption, while the well-designed terminals increase heat dissipation, thus further improving safety and service life.

Its applications include grid-connected inverters and uninterruptible power supplies. The G9KA series can be applied to inverters for photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems. Specifically, the G9KA-E is indicated for 200-400kVA / 600-800VAC inverters. Omron's G9KA-E PCB AC Relay is also ideal for UPS input and output lines as it provides utility and load disconnection. It is worth noting the suitability of the G9KA-E for power supplies that incorporate three-phase input/output circuits of 100-200kVA and 400VAC.

These new high power relays for printed circuit boards, when replacing conventional contactors in any application, reduce the weight and size of the system in addition to facilitating manual mounting or allowing automatic mounting.
