In response to the miniaturization trend and the growing demand for betting on and reinforcing medical equipment, from OLFER electronics we announce that our supplier MEAN WELL is expanding the MPM series (3-30W), launching the MPM-45/65/90 onto the market. (45W, 65W and 90W) to cover higher power applications. They are encapsulated printed circuit medical power supplies. This series plays a crucial role for the thermal chambers to operate 24 hours a day and thus ensure the health of any patient. Certified sources for medical applications 2xMOPP (patient protection).
The ST version with screw terminals is also available, giving us additional mounting and wiring options. These are the main features of the MPM-45/65/90 series: small size, complies with EN55011 Class B regulations, low no-load consumption <0.1W, efficiency up to 93%, wide working temperature range (- 30ºC/+80ºC), complies with the latest edition of IEC / EN60601-1 and ANSI / AAMI ES60601-1 medical safety standards, 2xMOPP insulation level and low leakage current <100μA. These sources are suitable for type BF (body floating) medical equipment, medical diagnostic equipment, portable medical instruments or medical equipment that requires low standby power.
