AI-assisted workflows for faster, more reliable high-frequency measurements
Anritsu CORPORATION It will present its newly launched product at EuMW 2026, which will be held from October 6 to 8 in London (United Kingdom). Tensor™, the world's first vector network analyzer (VNA) with artificial intelligence (AI).
Tensor is an AI-powered platform designed to simplify the characterization of RF, microwave, millimeter wave (mmWave) and optical components.
Through live demonstrations, Anritsu will show how Tensor helps engineers shorten the path between equipment setup and results, reduce operator dependence, and make advanced measurements more accessible without sacrificing control over the engineering process.
Visitors will be able to see how the platform streamlines the validation of active devices, simplifies the configuration of mmWave measurements, improves the understanding of device behavior, and provides greater flexibility when working with complex mixer architectures and multiple frequency plans.
AI-assisted workflows for complex VNA measurements
The built-in AI assistant will show how engineers can more efficiently set up and run advanced RF and microwave measurements using natural language instructions.
Integrated directly into the VNA Tensor, Anritsu's AI acts as a measurement partner, helping engineers solve complex problems and operate more efficiently and confidently in workflows related to amplifiers, mixers, S-parameters, calibration, boundary lines, SCPI, and report generation.
Simplification of the characterization of complex amplifiers
Tensor will also be used to demonstrate more agile amplifier characterization through a single unified configuration, eliminating the need for reconfigurations and minimizing downtime.
Engineers will be able to see how to perform key measurements, including Gain, compression, AM/AM, AM/PM, THD and two-tone IMD, with fewer configuration changes and less measurement uncertainty.
Simplified scalar and vector measurements of mixers
In mixer measurements, Anritsu will demonstrate how Tensor simplifies both scalar and vector characterization, including conversion loss, isolation, phase synchronization, group delay, and gain compression.
Thank you to your four internal sources, eight receivers, an optional second LO source, Multiple Source Control and specific measurement assistantsThe platform allows for the efficient configuration of multi-stage mixers and multiple frequency plans.
mmWave measurements, made as simple as possible
The VNA Tensor demonstration will show how engineers can perform advanced mmWave measurements using a simpler, more integrated setup.
By connecting directly to Anritsu and third-party mmWave modules, Tensor reduces the need for additional test equipment, while offering wide frequency coverage, intuitive selection of multipliers and dividers, and flexible source control for complex architectures such as harmonic mixers and multiplier chains.
Along with the Tensor demonstrations, Anritsu will present other test solutions designed to address measurement challenges in RF, microwave, mmWave, and high-speed signals.
Precision in RF power and signal generation for demanding test environments
The demonstration will combine the power meter ML2439A ’s relationship with the MG362x1A rubidium analog signal generator to provide a solution, in a single configuration, to RF and microwave workflows that require precise power measurements and generation of high-purity signals.
The demonstration will highlight multichannel measurements on signals. CW, modulated and pulsed for applications such as receptor sensitivity testing, blocking, OTA validation, and nonlinearity assays.
Common applications include testing 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and broadcasting, pulse characterization for the aerospace and defense sectors, TWTA gain measurements, radar and IFF analysis, radiated immunity testing and characterization of semiconductors and RF and microwave modules.
mmWave spectrum analysis on the palm of the hand
The measurement capabilities that were previously associated with desktop equipment can now fit in the palm of your hand.
El Anritsu Spectrum Master MS2760A offers continuous spectrum analysis from 9 kHz to 170 GHz through an ultra-portable USB-powered design, giving engineers the freedom to explore emerging millimeter-wave technologies wherever innovation is happening.
Its direct connection architecture reduces the need for expensive and lossy cables, bringing measurement closer to the device and helping to accelerate development from the lab to the production plant.
Evaluation of RIS performance in the field in collaboration with TMYTEK
In collaboration with TMYTEKAnritsu will demonstrate the evaluation of system performance RIS (Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface) in the field for 5G networks and future 6G networks.
The solution combines the VNA ME786xA from Anritsu with technology PhaseLync™ and the XRifle Dynamic RIS from TMYTEK.
This combination helps customers improve the characterization of the radio path, optimize signal quality, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate the deployment of reliable networks.
