Signal generation for production testing of RF components

Production tests of RF components are carried out using test signals generated by RF signal generators. Key parameters for these test signals include spectral properties (phase noise, broadband noise, harmonics/non-harmonics), as well as high level accuracy, high output level, and short settling times. Good generator properties translate into less influence on the measurement results of the RF components.
