Low-cost TCP/IP solutions: "Embedded Internet"

For some time now we have been invaded by web and email addresses. Technical and not-so-technical professionals routinely use Internet communication with contiguous transfers of information and sometimes large transfers of it. However, and despite the fact that this new concept of communication is well introduced in the professional world, there are many sectors where this technology has not yet arrived. There are several manufacturers of microprocessors that are trying to adapt their devices to this communication, but not all of them provide new tools or lower costs.
