Virtually all electronic devices use some form of RAM. SDRAM memories are the dominant technology for most types of computers and computer-based products. Double data rate DDR or SDRAM memories have become the memory technology of choice today. This technology offers a good combination of speed and capacity, available power, and physical size at a relatively low cost per bit.
